Terms of service for Audio to MIDI
Apr 5, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Audio to MIDI, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Use of the Service

Audio to MIDI provides a web-based workflow for turning compatible audio recordings into editable MIDI drafts. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the audio files and other content you submit. By uploading content, you confirm that you have the right to use it and grant us a limited license to process it only as needed to operate the service, deliver results, maintain reliability, and protect the platform.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • upload content you do not have rights to use
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or abuse the service
  • use the service to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
  • use automated access in a way that harms availability or reliability
  • bypass limitations, security measures, or access controls

Output Quality

Audio-to-MIDI transcription is probabilistic. Results may contain timing errors, missing notes, extra notes, or other inaccuracies. The output should be treated as an editable draft rather than guaranteed perfect transcription.

Availability and Changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every audio source, or continued support for every file type or workflow.

Intellectual Property

The Audio to MIDI website, branding, interface, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our product, design, software, or brand assets to you.

Privacy

Please review our separate Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect data.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Audio to MIDI and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for the service, or used the platform unlawfully or abusively.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of the service after any changes signifies your acceptance of the new terms.
